The newest client's version IM of Microsoft, Windows Live Messenger (ex-MSN Messenger) will allow adding and communicating with friends using Google Talk. So after the partial interoperability with Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger will join with Google.
Windows Live Messenger 9 could be released at the end of 2008 or the beggining of 2009
